Description

These Air Fryer Chicken Tenders are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, served with a delicious honey mustard sauce. A healthier alternative to traditional fried chicken tenders.


Ingredients

Chicken Tenders:

  • 1kg / 2 lbs skinless boneless chicken breasts cut into strips
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 10 crackers/ 1 cup Ryvita crackers to make up 1 cup/85 g crumbs
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1/2 tsp dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp sweet paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 tsp oil

Honey Mustard Sauce:

  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp whole grain mustard
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1/21 tsp white wine vinegar

Instructions

  1. Prepare Crumb Coating: Process Ryvita crackers into crumbs. Mix with sesame seeds, basil, oregano, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Coat Chicken: Cut chicken into strips, season with salt. Dip in egg, then coat with crumb mixture. Place on air fryer rack, spray with oil, and air fry.
  3. Make Honey Mustard Sauce: Mix honey, mustard, mayonnaise, and vinegar in a bowl.
  4. Serve: Serve cooked chicken tenders with honey mustard sauce.
