- 4 (6-ounce) cod fillets
- 4 teaspoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 4 teaspoons lemon juice
Instructions
- Prepare the fillets: Brush each cod fillet all over with 1 teaspoon of olive oil.
- Season the fillets: In a small bowl, combine the salt, garlic powder, paprika, and black pepper. Sprinkle the mixture evenly over all the cod fillets.
- Preheat the air fryer: Set your air fryer to 400°F to preheat.
- Cook the first batch: Place two fillets in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overcrowded. Cook for 5 minutes, then open the air fryer and drizzle 1 teaspoon of lemon juice over each fillet. Continue cooking for 3 to 5 more minutes, or until a thermometer inserted into the thickest portion of each fillet registers 145°F. Remove and set aside.
- Cook the remaining fillets: Repeat the cooking process with the other two fillets.
- Garnish and serve: Top each cooked fillet with chopped fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges for added flavor.

- Choose cod fillets that are around the same weight and thickness to ensure they cook evenly and at the same speed.
- If you have a larger air fryer, you can cook all the fillets at once. However, don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket. Leave some room around and between the fish to allow the hot air to circulate.
- Preheat the air fryer: Starting with a hot air fryer helps to develop a crispy exterior on the cod.
