For the Batter
- 1 cup Milk
- 3/4 cup Flour
- 1/2 cup Cornstarch
- 1 Egg
- 2 tbsp Hot Sauce (I used Franks)
- 1 tbsp Garlic Powder
For the Bang Bang Sauce
- 1/4 cup Mayo
- 2 tbsp Sweet Chilli Sauce
- 2 tsp Hot Sauce
- 1 tsp Honey
For the Chicken
- 3 Chicken Breasts, Chopped
- 2 cups Panko
- 2 cups Oil
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine milk, flour, cornstarch, egg, hot sauce, and garlic powder. Mix until a thick batter forms. To that bowl, add 3 chopped chicken breasts. Make sure each chicken chunk is fully covered in the batter.
- With tongs, take your chicken from the batter and coat in panko. It’s best to let some of the batter drip off the chicken.
- Place your breaded chicken on a parchment-lined sheet tray.
- Place 2 cups of oil in a large frying pan set over medium heat (350°F). Once heated, drop your chicken in and fry for 6-7 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from the pan and let cool on a wire rack.
- Into a mixing bowl, add mayo, hot sauce, sweet chili sauce, and honey. Mix well and season with a pinch of salt.
