Description

Ingredients

For the Batter

  • 1 cup Milk
  • 3/4 cup Flour
  • 1/2 cup Cornstarch
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 tbsp Hot Sauce (I used Franks)
  • 1 tbsp Garlic Powder

For the Bang Bang Sauce

  • 1/4 cup Mayo
  • 2 tbsp Sweet Chilli Sauce
  • 2 tsp Hot Sauce
  • 1 tsp Honey

For the Chicken

  • 3 Chicken Breasts, Chopped
  • 2 cups Panko
  • 2 cups Oil

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine milk, flour, cornstarch, egg, hot sauce, and garlic powder. Mix until a thick batter forms. To that bowl, add 3 chopped chicken breasts. Make sure each chicken chunk is fully covered in the batter.
  2. With tongs, take your chicken from the batter and coat in panko. It’s best to let some of the batter drip off the chicken.
  3. Place your breaded chicken on a parchment-lined sheet tray.
  4. Place 2 cups of oil in a large frying pan set over medium heat (350°F). Once heated, drop your chicken in and fry for 6-7 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. Remove from the pan and let cool on a wire rack.
  6. Into a mixing bowl, add mayo, hot sauce, sweet chili sauce, and honey. Mix well and season with a pinch of salt.
