Pasta:
- 8 ounces of pasta
Beef Ragu:
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1/2 sweet onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 1 tablespoon instant bouillon cube (chicken or beef)
- 1 (15-ounce) can marinara tomato sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley
Instructions
- Cook the pasta: Boil the pasta according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
- Prepare the beef sauce: Sauté onion in olive oil until translucent. Add garlic, Italian seasoning, and bouillon. Cook until fragrant. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat. Stir in marinara sauce and simmer for 8 minutes.
- Combine: Season the sauce, then stir in the cooked pasta.
