Description

This Chicken Bacon Ranch Pasta is a creamy and flavorful dish that combines tender rotisserie chicken, crispy bacon, and a rich ranch-infused sauce tossed with pasta.


Ingredients

Pasta:

  • 1 pound dry short pasta (Campanelle is pictured)
  • 3 teaspoons olive oil
  • 6 strips thick-cut bacon, diced small

Sauce:

  • 3 tablespoons reserved bacon grease
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 3 cups whole milk
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning
  • 2 ounces cream cheese, cubed
  • 1 cup grated Monterey Jack cheese
  • 2 cups heaping cups shredded rotisserie chicken breast
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Additional cheese and crumbled bacon, for serving

Instructions

  1. Cook Pasta: Boil salted water, cook pasta, reserve pasta water, toss with olive oil.
  2. Cook Bacon: Crisp bacon in pot, drain on paper towel.
  3. Make Sauce: Sauté garlic, add flour, whisk in milk, bring to a boil, add cheeses and ranch seasoning.
  4. Combine: Add pasta, chicken, bacon to sauce, warm through, adjust seasoning.
  5. Serve: Garnish with cheese and bacon, serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, consider adding a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
  • This dish reheats well, but may need a splash of milk or broth to loosen the sauce when reheating.
