Description

A comforting and flavorful dish of Country Ranch Green Beans and Potatoes, combining the earthiness of potatoes, the sweetness of onions, the savoriness of bacon, and the zing of Ranch seasoning.

Bacon Grease Mixture:

  • 2 tablespoons bacon grease
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Vegetables:

  • 2 medium red potatoes, cut into a 1/2-inch dice
  • 1 small sweet onion, diced
  • 1 (14-ounce) can green beans, drained

Seasonings:

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Ranch seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Garnish:

  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon Tabasco sauce, optional

Instructions

  1. Prepare Bacon Grease Mixture: Heat bacon grease and butter over medium-high heat in a large pan.
  2. Add potatoes and cook for 7 minutes, flipping them over halfway through.

  3. Cook Vegetables: Add onion and cook 3 to 5 more minutes, until potatoes are soft.
  4. Season and Serve: Add Ranch seasoning, black pepper, green beans, bacon, and Tabasco sauce. Stir and let everything warm through. Remove from heat and serve.

Notes

  • You can opt to use 4 tablespoons of butter instead of a combination of bacon grease and butter.
