Description

A quick and flavorful Chili Maple Glazed Salmon recipe that’s perfect for a healthy, hassle-free meal. The combination of spices and sweet maple syrup creates a delightful glaze for the salmon.

Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients

    • 1 lb. wild salmon fillets
    • Big pinch of salt and pepper

Spice Mix

    • 2 teaspoons chili powder
    • 1 teaspoon paprika
    • 1 teaspoon coconut sugar

Glaze

  • 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Broiler: Preheat your broiler on high to begin cooking.
  2. Prepare the Salmon: Lightly oil the salmon and place it on a rimmed baking sheet. Sprinkle a generous pinch of salt and pepper over the fillets.
  3. Make the Spice Rub: In a small bowl, whisk together chili powder, paprika, and coconut sugar. Rub this mixture evenly over the top of the salmon fillets.
  4. Cook the Salmon: Broil the salmon in the oven for about 8 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through, light, and flaky.
  5. Apply the Maple Glaze: Remove the salmon from the oven and brush pure maple syrup over the top of the fillets. Return it to the oven and broil for another 1-2 minutes, or until the maple syrup starts bubbling.
  6. Serve and Enjoy: Serve the salmon immediately while it’s warm and flavorful.
