For the Stir Fry:
- 1 to 1 1/2 lbs Top Round Beef, thinly sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 small white onion, chopped
- Green onions, for serving
- 1 to 2 tbsp olive oil or canola oil
For the Sauce:
- 1 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 7 tbsp brown sugar
- 3 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1/8 tsp sesame seed oil
- Pinch of pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Slice the Meat: Slice the beef into thin strips and set aside.
- Prepare Vegetables: Chop the bell peppers and onion and set aside.
- Make Sauce: Combine all sauce ingredients and set aside.
- Cook Meat: Heat oil in a skillet, add beef, and cook.
- Add Vegetables: Add peppers and onions to the skillet and cook until done.
- Combine: Pour sauce over meat and vegetables, stir until thickened.
- Serve: Serve over cooked rice and garnish with green onions.
