BROWNIES

- 4 large eggs, room temperature
- 2 cups (400 g) granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks / 170 g) unsalted butter, room temperature
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
FRENCH SILK FILLING
- 4.4 ounces dark chocolate, melted and cooled
- 1 cup (2 sticks / 227 g) unsalted butter, room temperature
- 1 1/2 cups (300 g) granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 tablespoons Dutch-processed cocoa powder
- 4 large eggs, room temperature
WHIPPED TOPPING
- 1 cup (238 g) heavy whipping cream
- 1/4 cup (31 g) confectioners’ sugar
Instructions
- BROWNIES – Preheat oven, whisk dry ingredients, mix wet ingredients, combine, bake, and cool.
- FRENCH SILK FILLING – Melt chocolate, beat butter and sugar, add chocolate, mix in vanilla and cocoa, add eggs, beat until smooth and shiny.
- WHIPPED TOPPING – Whip cream until soft peaks form, add sugar, whip until firm peaks.
- ASSEMBLING BROWNIES – Pour filling over cooled brownies, top with whipped cream, refrigerate.
