Description

These Garlic Butter Steak Bites are a quick and flavorful dish that combines tender sirloin steak with savory garlic, butter, and fresh herbs. Perfect for a weeknight dinner or a special occasion!


Ingredients

For the Potatoes:

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 1 lb baby red and yellow potatoes, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
  • 3 large garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1/41/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes, depending on taste
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Steak:

  • 11 1/4 lb sirloin steak, cut into one-inch cubes
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prep Potatoes: Heat a skillet over medium heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter with ½ tablespoon of olive oil. Add potatoes, garlic, herbs, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 5-6 mins until tender but firm. Season with salt and pepper. Remove potatoes.
  2. Cook Steak: Discard burnt garlic and herbs. Increase heat to high. Add ½ tablespoon of olive oil and remaining butter. Sear steak for 4-6 minutes until browned and cooked to preference. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Combine: Return potatoes to skillet. Cook for 1 minute until heated through. Serve hot.

Notes

  • Make sure not to overcrowd the skillet when cooking the steak to ensure proper searing.
  • Adjust the red pepper flakes according to your spice preference.
