Scale
Jello Mixture
- 1 Box strawberry jello (3 ounce package)
- 1¼ Cups boiling water
- ¾ Cup red berry flavored vodka
Decoration
- 9 bloodshot eye candies
Instructions
- Dissolve Jello: Stir the strawberry jello powder and boiling water together in a large measuring cup until the jello is fully dissolved.
- Add Vodka: Mix in the red berry flavored vodka thoroughly into the dissolved jello mixture.
- Fill Shot Glasses: Pour the mixture into shot glasses, leaving a small gap at the top to avoid spillage.
- Refrigerate: Place the filled shot glasses on a baking sheet and refrigerate them for at least 2 hours, or until completely set.
- Add Candy Eyes: Just before serving, carefully place one bloodshot eye candy on top of each set jello shot.
Notes
- Use a baking sheet while filling shot glasses to prevent spills and make transport to the refrigerator easier.
- Add the candy eyes only right before serving to prevent them from softening in the moisture of the jello.
- Do not add too much alcohol as it can prevent the jello from setting properly.
