Instructions
- Prepare Strawberries: Remove the green leafy tops from the strawberries. Then slice a thin section from the top of each strawberry to use as the hat.
- Slice Banana: Cut the banana into round slices about ¼ inch thick, which will serve as the face and beard base.
- Apply Cheese: Spread a generous amount of ricotta cheese (or your chosen alternative) on one side of the banana slice, thick enough to resemble a beard.
- Assemble Base Layers: Place the sliced portion of the strawberry flat on the serving plate, then carefully add the banana slice on top with the cheese side facing down onto the strawberry slice.
- Add Eyes: Using a black gel icing pen, draw two small dots on the exposed banana slice at the edge to represent the eyes.
- Top with Hat: Place the remaining larger part of the strawberry on top to look like Santa’s hat. Repeat these steps to make as many strawberry Santas as desired.
