Description

Chicken:

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter, divided
  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour

Sauce:

  • 6 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon seasoned rice vinegar
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • Kosher salt, to taste
  • Freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
  • Green onions, thinly sliced for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Cooking Base: Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a large frying pan over medium to medium-high heat.
  2. Prepare the Chicken: Slice the chicken breasts in half lengthwise, season with salt and pepper, dredge in flour.
  3. Cook the Chicken: Cook the chicken in the pan until golden brown and almost fully cooked.
  4. Make the Sauce: Melt butter, sauté garlic, add soy sauce, vinegar, honey, salt, and pepper.
  5. Deglaze and Finish the Sauce: Simmer the sauce until thickened.
