Ingredients

Marinade:

  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soya sauce
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Chicken:

  • 2 chicken breasts, cut into 8 one-inch strips
  • 8 skewers

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Whisk together honey, soya sauce, vinegar, ginger, and garlic powder in a bowl until combined. Add cornstarch to achieve desired thickness.

  3. Soak skewers in water for 10 minutes.
  4. Thread chicken strips onto skewers.
  5. Marinate chicken in the sauce for 2 hours, reserving some marinade for basting.
  6. Place chicken on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake in the oven for 14 minutes.
  7. Baste as needed and flip the skewers at the 7-minute mark.

  8. Serve and enjoy!
