Description

This Baked Crunchy Hot Honey Chicken recipe combines crispy chicken tenderloins coated with a flavorful cornflake and parmesan crust, topped with a sweet and spicy hot honey glaze. Perfect for a delicious and satisfying meal!

  • 2 large eggs, beaten

  • 2 pounds chicken breast tenderloins

  • 23 tablespoons hot sauce
  • 13 teaspoons cayenne pepper
  • 3/4 teaspoon chipotle chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Sea salt, to taste
  • Fresh thyme, cilantro, or parsley, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the coating: Combine cornflakes, parmesan, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, and salt in a food processor. Pulse into fine crumbs and transfer to a bowl.
  3. Coat the chicken: Beat eggs, mix with hot sauce, coat chicken, and dredge in the cornflake mixture. Bake until crispy.
  4. Make the hot honey sauce: Warm honey, hot sauce, cayenne, chili powder, onion powder, and garlic powder in a sauce pot.
