Instructions
- Prepare the chicken: Place the chicken breast in the Instant Pot.
- Add the sauces: Pour the teriyaki sauce over the chicken, then add the water into the Instant Pot.
- Seal and cook: Close and seal the lid. Cook on high pressure for 12 minutes, allowing the pot to naturally release after cooking.
- Remove the chicken: Remove the chicken from the liquid and set it aside on a plate to cool slightly.
- Thicken the sauce: Set the Instant Pot to the sauté setting, then whisk in the cornstarch until the liquid thickens to a sauce-like consistency.
- Chop the chicken: Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces and return them to the pot with the sauce. Stir to coat the chicken evenly with the thickened sauce.
- Serve and garnish: Serve the teriyaki chicken over cooked rice with steamed vegetables. Garnish with green onions and/or sesame seeds for added flavor and presentation.
