Ingredients
Scale
Fruit Cups
- 2 Oranges
- 150 g Blueberries
- 150 g Grapes, quartered
Instructions
- Prepare the Oranges: Slice the top off each orange in a zig-zag pattern. Use a knife to cut around the inside flesh, loosening it carefully to make a hollow cup without breaking the peel.
- Scoop Out Flesh: Gently scoop out the orange flesh and set it aside. This can be eaten separately or used in another recipe.
- Carve the Faces: Using a small, sharp knife, carve jack-o-lantern faces into the hollowed oranges with care to create fun and spooky designs.
- Fill the Cups: Fill each carved orange cup evenly with 150 grams of blueberries and quartered grapes, making sure the fruit is nicely packed inside.
- Serve: Replace the tops of the oranges and serve immediately for a festive and healthy treat.
Notes
- You can substitute the oranges with grapefruit for a slightly different flavor and appearance.
- If carving proves difficult or to involve kids, use a permanent marker to draw the faces and have an adult carve them out or leave the drawings for fun.
