Ingredients

Units Scale

Cake

  • 1 Chocolate Cake Mix
  • 1/3 cup Vegetable Oil
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • 6 Oreos, crushed
  • 6 Chocolate Chip Cookies, crushed
  • 1/4 cup M&M’s

Cake Filling

  • 1 large Chocolate Pudding mix
  • 2 cups Milk

Cake Topping

  • 1 tub Cool Whip (16 ounces)
  • 6 Oreos, crumbled
  • 6 Chocolate Chip Cookies, crumbled
  • M&M’s (a couple of handfuls, sprinkled on top)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Cake Batter
In a large mixing bowl, combine the Chocolate Cake Mix, Vegetable Oil, Eggs, and Water. Stir until the mixture is thoroughly combined. Fold in the crushed Oreos, crushed Chocolate Chip Cookies, and M&M’s for extra texture and flavor.
  2. Bake the Cake
Grease a 9×11-inch dish and pour the cake batter into it. Bake the cake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Once done, remove the cake from the oven and allow it to cool completely.
  3. Prepare the Pudding and Thaw the Cool Whip
While the cake cools, prepare the pudding according to the package instructions using the 2 cups of milk. Set it aside. Place the Cool Whip on the counter to completely thaw.
  4. Assemble the Cake
Once the cake is cool, use the handle of a wooden spoon to poke holes all over its surface. Pour the prepared pudding over the cake, ensuring the pudding seeps into the holes for a rich filling.
  5. Add the Toppings
Open the Cool Whip, stir to ensure smoothness, and spread it evenly over the pudding layer. Then, sprinkle the crumbled Oreos, crumbled Chocolate Chip Cookies, and a handful of M&M’s over the Cool Whip. Add as many M&M’s as you like for extra color and crunch.
  6. Chill and Serve
Refrigerate the cake for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld together. Slice into squares and enjoy!

Notes
