Ingredients
Scale
For a Pitcher:
- 750 ml white rum
- 1 cup pineapple or mango juice
- 1 cup orange juice
- 3/4 cup lime juice
- 3/4 cup grenadine or strawberry syrup
- Sliced fresh fruit (strawberries, oranges, pineapple, and/or limes)
- Optional: 1 tsp ground nutmeg
For a Single Serve:
- 2 oz white rum
- 1 oz pineapple or mango juice
- 1 oz orange juice
- 1/2 oz lime juice
- 1/2 oz grenadine or strawberry syrup
- Sliced fresh fruit (strawberries, oranges, pineapple, and/or limes)
- Optional: a pinch of ground nutmeg
Instructions
- To Make a Pitcher: In a large pitcher or punch bowl, combine the white rum, pineapple or mango juice, orange juice, lime juice, grenadine or strawberry syrup, ground nutmeg (if using), and sliced fresh fruit. Stir well to blend all the flavors together.
- Chill and Serve: Refrigerate the pitcher until ready to serve. Serve the punch over ice in glasses, garnished with additional fresh fruit slices and a light dusting of nutmeg on top for extra aroma and flavor. Always enjoy responsibly.
- To Make a Single Serving: In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine the white rum, pineapple or mango juice, orange juice, lime juice, grenadine or strawberry syrup, and a pinch of nutmeg if desired.
- Shake Well: Shake the mixture vigorously for at least 90 seconds or until the shaker feels cold. This chills and combines all the ingredients thoroughly.
- Serve: Strain the shaken mixture into a glass filled with fresh ice cubes. Garnish with freshly sliced fruit and a dash of nutmeg on top to enhance the drink’s presentation and taste.
Notes
- You can substitute pineapple juice with mango juice for a slight variation in tropical flavor.
- Adjust the amount of grenadine or strawberry syrup to control the sweetness level of the punch.
- Add more lime juice for a tangier punch if desired.
- Use fresh squeezed juices whenever possible for the best taste.
- Serve chilled and always drink responsibly.
