Description

These Sticky Oven Barbecue Ribs are a finger-licking, fall-off-the-bone delight. The tender baby back ribs are seasoned to perfection, baked, then slathered in a rich barbecue sauce for a mouthwatering finish.

Ingredients

Units Scale

RIBS:

  • 4 pounds baby back pork ribs
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper cracked
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder or cayenne powder – optional
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

SAUCE:

  • 2 cups barbecue sauce
  • 3 tablespoons garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/21 tablespoon cayenne pepper optional for heat
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Peel off tough membrane on ribs, season, and bake covered for 2 hours.
  2. Prepare the sauce. Combine ingredients and spread over cooked ribs.
  3. Finish in the oven. Bake uncovered, then broil for a charred finish.
  4. Rest and slice. Let the ribs rest before serving.
