For the Beef:
- 2 lb ground beef
- 1 chopped onion
- 2 TBSP minced garlic
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp cayenne
- 4 tsp chili powder
- 2 tsp cumin
- 2 tsp dried cilantro
- 1 1/2 cups beef broth
For Assembling Tacos:
- White corn tortillas
- 1 tbsp oil
- Shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- Taco Toppings: sour cream, Pico de Gallo, taco sauce, shredded lettuce
Instructions
- Cook the Beef: In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef and onion until beef is browned. Drain excess grease. Add garlic, salt, pepper, cayenne, chili powder, cumin, dried cilantro, and beef broth. Boil, then simmer for 20 minutes.
- Assemble Tacos: Heat a skillet over medium heat with oil. Fill tortillas with cheese and taco meat. Fold and cook until crispy. Drain on paper towels.
- Serve: Top tacos with sour cream, Pico de Gallo, taco sauce, and lettuce. Enjoy!
