Bagels and Filling
-
- 2 plain bagels
- 6 ounces cream cheese, softened
Garlic Butter Topping
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1/2 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced or 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 350℉.
- Prepare the bagels: Using a knife, make three evenly spaced cuts across the top of each bagel, being careful not to slice all the way through. Each bagel should now be divided into six sections.
- Make the cream cheese filling: In a medium bowl, use a hand mixer to whip the cream cheese until it’s light and fluffy. Place the cream cheese into a piping bag (or use a ziploc bag with a corner cut off) and pipe the cream cheese into each bagel section.
- Prepare the garlic butter: In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, chopped parsley, and minced garlic until thoroughly combined.
- Assemble the bagels: Brush the garlic butter generously over the top of the bagels. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese and shredded mozzarella over the tops.
- Cook the stuffed bagels: Place the prepared bagels into the preheated air fryer and cook for 5 to 7 minutes or until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
Notes
- Swap the plain bagels for other varieties like everything bagels or sesame bagels to suit your taste.
- For an extra kick of garlic, use herb and garlic cream cheese instead of plain cream cheese.
- If you don’t have a piping bag, you can use a ziploc bag with a corner snipped off to fill the bagels.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days or frozen for up to 1 month.
